Barcelona, ​​1967. She holds a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). She was an associate professor in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications of the UPC and has been a university professor since 1995. She was the winner of the Ericsson Prize for the best doctoral thesis in mobile communications in Spain, awarded by the Official College and the Spanish Association of Telecommunication Engineers.

She has been mayor of Esplugues de Llobregat since June 2006 by the Socialist Party of Catalonia-Candidature of Progress, and is a member of the PSC Executive Commission as national secretary, responsible for Science, Innovation and Digitalization. She is also vice president of the LOCALRET Consortium and member of the Board of Directors of the Local Audiovisual Network.

Since July 2011, she has been a provincial deputy to the Barcelona Provincial Council. She is currently deputy to the Presidency, delegate for International Affairs and the spokeswoman for the PSC-CP group.
