Thanks to the collaboration and funding of the Barcelona City Council<\/strong>, Eyes of the world is carrying out the project called “A cinematic look at inequalities in eye health”. It is a service-learning project in three educational centers in Barcelona (FEP Santa Teresa de Lisieux, INS Quatre Cantons and INS Francisco de Goya) that helps defend the universal right to vision, with special attention to women\u2019s access to eye health.<\/p>\n

Students in the 3rd and 4th years of secondary education are challenged to create short films<\/strong> of between three and five minutes, with professional support from Taller de Cinema<\/strong>, which ensures training and technical supervision in audiovisual language; from Eyes of the world, in content validation, and from their respective teachers.<\/p>\n

The process lasts throughout the 2025\u20132026 school year, during which, firstly, training sessions are held to acquire the necessary knowledge and awareness; secondly, the production of the short films takes place, with students taking on all the roles required for audiovisual production, and finally, dissemination and mutual awareness activities are carried out together with the other participating centers.<\/p>\n

Thus, by fostering civic responsibility among secondary school students in the city of Barcelona, the project generates a dual impact: the materials created serve as awareness-raising tools both within the educational context itself and in future campaigns by Eyes of the world, turning students into agents of change capable of connecting and conveying local and global realities.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":31005,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-34447","noticies","type-noticies","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nA cinematic look at inequalities in eye health -
