world seeks to reduce avoidable blindness in the territories it has developed its programs<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It aims to reach this goal by improving people&#8217;s access to comprehensive ophthalmological care services, through the implementation of a unique intervention model.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the guidelines of this model, Eyes of the world works to create a sustainable care system with the implementation of eye health networks at all levels of care through joint action with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The local health authorities to develop ocular health\u2014 define strategies and procedures of ophthalmological care and create and provide the necessary infrastructures for medical practice within the framework of the public health system.<\/li>\n<li>Local health professionals at all levels (from primary care to specialists) for their training in detection, referral, treatment and eye surgery.<\/li>\n<li>The people of each territory (the patients and their communities) to develop a culture of ocular health that promotes the early detection of pathologies and education in prevention and ocular hygiene.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4b9ad15 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4b9ad15\" >aims to make eye health more accessible to the population by reaching a greater number of people, improving the quality of eye care from local staff, and achieving sustainability in the Ocular Health
