Eyes of the world has the support of the technology offered by the company Worldcoo<\/a> to finance part of the ophthalmological cooperation projects it has underway. Thanks to the solidarity rounding initiative, which unites socially responsible companies with social entities, different firms support solidarity projects through the involvement of their users.<\/p>\n

Throughout the month of August 2022, Eyes of the world was the beneficiary of the solidarity of the customers of the<\/strong> Bonpreu and Esclat<\/a> shops who wanted to round up the amount of their purchases (the cents on their receipts) to contribute to the fight against avoidable blindness in Mali, raising more than 50,000 euros.<\/p>\n

Micro-donations are a voluntary initiative that brings significant value to causes such as the Universal Right to Sight, both in terms of financial collection and in terms of brand visibility and the impact of the projects.<\/p>\n

Between July and November 2022 and December 2023 and January 2024, <\/strong>General Optica<\/a> has participated in the rounding-up initiative to support the activities that the Eyes of the world has in progress<\/strong> and to ensure that no one is blind due to preventable or curable causes, as everyone has the right to quality eye health.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Fondazione Ennio de Rigo and General Optica<\/strong> have extended another year the successful collaboration with The Eyes of the world Foundation, which began in 2019.<\/p>\n

The initiative consists of the promotion of spectacle frames from the brand STING Junior<\/strong> in General Optica stores. A collection focused on children and young people in school age. For every frame sold, the Fondazione Ennio de Rigo, which has the goal of guaranteeing right to health and education to every child, intends to donate 2 euros to Eyes of the world for the implementation of activities that fight avoidable blindness in some of the most vulnerable areas in the world.<\/p>\n

Uncorrected refractive errors are the leading cause of visual impairment in the world and one of the most frequent reasons for school failure and dropout. The screening programmes in schools and early detection of pathologies carried out by Eyes of the world help to fight these situations and guarantee equitable and quality access for children and young people to the best possible vision.<\/p>\n
