First, they attend informative talks in order to get a basic understanding of the importance of vision care, and then they hold informative sessions in different communities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In order to carry out these activities that also <strong><span >promote the individual and collective empowerment of women<\/span><\/strong>, Eyes of the world delivered in 2019 to the CAFO of Koro (collective of NGOs and women\u2019s associations) motorcycles adapted as taxis to be used:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>as a means of transport during awareness-raising campaigns.<\/li>\n<li><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17803 aligncenter size-large\" title=\"Group of women in front of a mototaxi\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ullsdelmon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/IMG-20190912-WA0056.jpg\" alt=\"Group of women in front of a mototaxi\" width=\"990\" height=\"741\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ullsdelmon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/IMG-20190912-WA0056.jpg 990w, https:\/\/www.ullsdelmon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/IMG-20190912-WA0056-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ullsdelmon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/IMG-20190912-WA0056-768x575.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 990px) 100vw, 990px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>to help women who need to get to the health centre.<\/li>\n<li>rental service to raise funds for CAFO.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\" >Besides being a solution for transport, vehicles are also a source of income <\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">so that women\u2019s associations can manage themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">These motorcycles have been financed by the City Council of Hondarribia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":17801,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-18312","ulls-de-dona","type-ulls-de-dona","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
