Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University de Barcelona in 2010, she completed her specialization in ophthalmology at the Mútua de Terrassa University Hospital (Barcelona) and at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital (Barcelona). In 2013 she obtained international validation with the examinations of the International Council of Ophthalmology. Later, she completed her training in diseases of the ocular surface, cornea and cataract by visiting hospitals in Norway (Bergen), France (Rouen), England (Nottingham) and India (Chennai).

Her professional beginnings took place at the Mútua de Terrassa University Hospital, where she is currently the director of the Department of Cornea and Anterior Segment. In 2016, she started working at the Institute of Ocular Microsurgery (IMO) as part of the Department of Cornea and the Ethics Committee. Since 2023 she is part of the cornea, cataract and refractive surgery team at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Center.

In the field of teaching, she has been a professor of the Master in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery at the IMO (UAB) and a professor of resident interns at the Mútua de Terrassa University Hospital (UB). Member of the College of Physicians of Barcelona, ​​of the SECOIR (Spanish Society of Ocular and Refractive Surgery), of the ESCRS (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery), of the SCO (Catalan Society of Ophthalmology) and current member of the Executive Committee of Aniridia-NET.EU.

She has participated as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences, as well as being the author of various publications. Also noteworthy is her participation in various research projects on ocular surface diseases at both a national and European level.
