El grupo bancario operaba en 42 pa\u00edses, con m\u00e1s de 100.000 empleados y activos de m\u00e1s de 200.000 millones de euros.<\/p>\n<p>Como CEO y primer vicepresidente del Banco Central Hispano (1994-1999), <strong><span >lider\u00f3 una de las mejoras de \u00e9xito que han tenido lugar en el mercado bancario europeo<\/span><\/strong>. En el per\u00edodo 1995-1998, la utilidad del BCH se multiplic\u00f3 por 5.3 veces.<\/p>\n<p>De 1998 a 1994, \u00c1ngel fue <strong><span >director general y consejero del Banco Bilbao Vizcaya (BBV)<\/span><\/strong>, entonces el mayor banco de Espa\u00f1a. Durante su mandato, lider\u00f3 la Divisi\u00f3n de Banca Inversi\u00f3n del banco y particip\u00f3 en la gesti\u00f3n de su cartera industrial.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, \u00c1ngel es <strong><span >presidente de Eptisa, Iberchem y Orliman y miembro del Consejo de Generis, Geriatros y Nace<\/span><\/strong>.
