Strategic plan 2026-2030
Eyes of the world understands eye health as maximizing people’s vision and functional capacity, but not only. Through its projects and activities, the Foundation also aims to impact its health and general well-being, quality of life and individual development.
Eye health is essential to achieve many of the Sustainable Development Goals and leave no one behind; however, poor eye health and deteriorated vision have a negative effect on people’s autonomy and limit their equitable access to education, work, participation, etc.
The loss of vision directly affects people’s vital goals, their participation and full inclusion in society, and the progress of their families and communities. In addition, it has important economic consequences for humanity. By working for the universal right to vision,
Eyes of the world transforms people’s lives, enabling them to reach their full potential. And it transforms its environments, contributing to the reduction of inequalities. The 2026-2030 Strategic Eyes of the World Plan proposes a new transformative model for the achievement of the Foundation’s objectives.
