You just need your commitment and your willingness to collaborate!

Send your CV to foundation@eyesoftheworldfoundation.org explaining how you would like to contribute and what your availability is.

Electromedical Technicians

One of the Foundation’s areas of work is providing healthcare centers with the equipment and consumable materials necessary for medical practice.

In this regard, and in order to reduce costs, the Foundation receives donations of optical equipment (lens edgers, autorefractometers, etc.) and ophthalmology equipment (phacoemulsifiers, microscopes, etc.) from companies and individuals. Although in some cases the equipment is in very good condition, it must be inspected, maintained, and/or repaired before being sent to the field. For this reason, we need volunteer electromedical technicians to review the equipment stored in the Foundation’s warehouse.

Volunteering characteristics:

  • Occasional commitment.
  • On-site volunteering (Ulls del Món headquarters in Barcelona).
  • Profile and/or requirements: Electromedical technicians with experience in ophthalmology and optical equipment.
