Vitoria, 1964. Graduated in Information Science at the Madrid Complutense University UCM.

Virginia’s professional career began in 1988 at Fujitsu’s Communications Department, where she spent 5 years. Between 1989 and 1991, she also worked as an assistant teacher of Information Theory at the CEU San Pablo University (Madrid).

In 1991, she joined the Basque Government, working as a communications advisor for the Vicepresident of the Government. In the next parliamentary term, from 1995 to 1998, she worked as a communications advisor for the Department of Industry.

Virginia founded the VK Comunicación agency in 1998, an advisory agency that specialises in communication strategy and management for companies and institutions. This is currently made up of 12 professionals.
